Growing Christmas Trees: Site Preparation, Species Selection and More

Part of the Workshop Series: Growing Christmas Trees - from Site Selection to Sales

Join us for a workshop session on getting your Christmas trees off to a good start.  We will cover topics such as site selection, soil testing, tree species selection, site preparation, and planting.

We will be hosted by Christa Howe-Lambert, owner of Christa's Christmas Farm, and joined by the following instructors:

• Nigel Manley, Christmas tree grower and owner of South Farm in Bethlehem
• Heather Bryant, UNH Extension Field Specialist, Food and Agriculture
• Jim Frohn, Grafton County Forester, UNH Extension

This is the second workshop in a series on Growing Christmas Trees – from Site Selection to Sales. Attendees are welcome to participate in any or all of the workshops offered in this series. While each workshop stands alone, they are designed to be most effective when attended in their entirety.
