1 Million Cups Central NH May 2021 [Virtual] Meeting

Wed, 05/05/2021
8:00am - 9:00am

1 Million Cups Central New Hampshire is a monthly entrepreneur-focused event developed by the Kauffman Foundation and brought to Concord through a collaborative effort between UNH Cooperative Extension, Making Matters NH, and NHTI. The idea is that communities around the country share 1 million cups of coffee while developing their entrepreneurial ecosystems. Entrepreneurs and small businesses often feel disconnected from each other and their communities. 1 Million Cups is about creating these connections. The goal is to develop a robust entrepre-neurial ecosystem by connecting entrepreneurs to each other and their local communities so they can receive support, develop their ideas, and collaboratively solve the challenging problems they face.

1 Million Cups not only serves current entrepreneurs, but also provides a place where future en-trepreneurs and innovators can learn and cultivate their own ideas. It will help to create a city and a region where entrepreneurs want to live; they want to innovate; and they want to start their business. 1 Million Cups is about creating a community where innovation can thrive. Each month, two entrepreneurs present for six minutes, followed by 15-20 minutes of questions and conversation audience. 1 Million Cups events are inclusive; everyone is welcome regardless of their background or experience. The more community involvement and the greater the diversi-ty of ideas and perspectives that we have, the more successful we’ll be in making Central New Hampshire a hub of entrepreneurship and innovation.
