2019 New Hampshire Fruit Growers Annual Meeting

The annual NH Fruit Growers meeting will be held on Tuesday March 5th at Alan's Restaurant in Boscawen.

NH Dept. of Agriculture, Markets & Food - Division of Pesticide Control has approved four (4)  PAT credits for attending this meeting. 

Pre-registration required. Contact NHFGA Secretary Madison Hardy at (603) 630-1549 or email at Madison.lowell@gmail.com by March 2, 2019.  Registration fees are $30 per member and $35 per non-member to cover the cost of refreshments and lunch, along with speakers’ costs.

Featured speaker - Dr. Rich Marini, Professor of Horticulture, Penn State University, University Park, PA, will discussing Factors Influencing Bud Hardiness of Tree Fruit and Managing Bitter Pit in Honey Crisp.

Grower Panel discussing Managing Fertility in the Orchard will also be featured.  Other topics include: Finding Apple Varieties in a PYO Orchard with an “APP” on Your Phone, Online Tool - Where do you fall under the FSMA Produce Safety Rule and Insect Updates – SWD, BMSB, and Old Insect Pests that are New Problems!
