2019 Rockingham County 4-H Cucumber Pickle Challenge Kick-off

You are invited to the 2019 Cucumber Pickle Challenge sponsored by Rockingham County 4-H and NH Master Gardeners. The goal of the challenge is for youth ages 5-18 to learn how to grow cucumbers and make pickles.
- The kick-off event is May 6, 6:30 p.m. at the Rockingham UNH Extension office, 113 North Road, Brentwood, NH, where you can pick up cucumber seeds, growing information, marking stakes and patio pots. A Master Gardener will be available for instruction and questions.
- The pickle making session is September 7, 9:30 a.m. at the same location. All supplies for the pickling party will be available.
- On September 23 or 24 bring your pickles to Deerfield Fair during the 4-H Building set up, where the pickles will be judged and put on display.
Please register by Friday, May 3 by contacting the Rockingham County 4-H office at firstname.lastname@example.org 603-679-5616 extension 9266. If you cannot make it to the May 6 kickoff event, please call the office to make other arrangements to pick up the seeds, information and supplies.
