2019 Rockingham/Strafford 4-H County Activities Day
County Activities Day is an annual county event that provides youth the opportunity to build skills and confidence in the realm of public speaking. Youth participate in one or more of a variety of categories aimed at conveying emotion, information, and skills through public speech, visual aid, and even performance. The foundation of this event is based on the belief that all youth are passionate about something and can share it with others professionally and engagingly. This event helps 4-H members learn and strengthen ways to express themselves.
Each event is judged by a helpful and knowledgeable set of evaluators that provide both in-person and written feedback to participants.

Why is it valuable?
All of us, at some time in our lives, will have to express ourselves confidently, whether it is speaking in front of a group of people, or presenting our ideas through a prepared, creative document.
