2021 Belknap & Carroll 4-H Presents! (County Activities Day)
The safety of our youth, families, volunteers, and event participants remains New Hampshire 4-H's overriding priority. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the potential risk of exposure, all 4-H youth, volunteers, and families must adhere to the current 4-H guidelines before, during, and after in-person 4-H experiences. These include but are not limited to safety training and health screening before the event, wearing masks, maintaining 6 feet social distancing, using hand sanitizer and/or handwashing at all times during the event, and after the event reporting COVID-19 symptoms or cases to your County 4-H Program Manager. After registering, youth and families will receive more detailed information on safety protocols and procedures for this in-person 4-H experience.
About the Program
4-H Presents is an opportunity for 4-H youth to demonstrate their presentation skills and subject matter knowledge. Public speaking skills are ranked number one among the desired skill sets of professionals. Every 4-H member is encouraged to give a presentation each year. A 4-H presentation can be a demonstration, action exhibit, public speech, include audio-visual aids, and involve problem solving. Through their presentations, youth learn to research a subject, organize their ideas into a logical order and practice public speaking skills.
Please read this Event Criteria carefully and share this information with all participating members. All participants must be currently enrolled members of the Carroll County or Belknap County 4-H Programs. If you are uncertain of anyone’s current enrollment status log into 4honline.com to check your account or contact your UNH Cooperative Extension office.
