Getting to Know Your Garden (in Ossipee): Practical Knowledge for People Who Grow Stuff
Any gardener can tell you that growing stuff means learning stuff. Identifying insects you've never seen, decoding the mysteries of fertilizer ratios and wondering who to call when your nearly ripe tomatoes suddenly start turning brown are just a few of the "learning opportunities" that gardeners frequently encounter.
As the growing season kicks up for gardeners, UNH Cooperative Extension brings the experts to you! This event will make space for shared learning through Q & A sessions and presentations on growing fruits and vegetables, ornamental horticulture, safely managing the pests devoted to undoing your best work and more.
"Getting to Know Your Garden" is a two hour event, open to the public and free to attend. There are 80 seats, and there is additional standing room.
