Join us for a 'Bird Netting Demonstration and Wildlife Walk' on a transmission line right-of-way on newly acquired property at Distant Hill Gardens and Nature Trail. Leading the event will be Matt Tarr, UNH associate professor of wildlife and conservation biology and Extension educator. Matt and a few UNH graduate students have been studying the shrub-lands beneath hi-voltage transmission lines to better understand the use of this unique habitat by songbird and other wildlife.
