[CANCELED] - Initial Certification for Commercial Pesticide Applicators
Due to the public health concern caused by the COVID-19 virus, UNH administration made the decision to cancel all UNH Cooperative Extension events, programs and noncredit classes through April 5. The health and safety of our staff and the many members of our New Hampshire communities that participate in our programs is most important. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this uncertain time.
About the Event
The University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension will offer training for individuals interested in becoming certified commercial pesticide applicators.
The initial certification process is challenging, but this rewarding course will assist applicators in preparing for the commercial applicator certification exam. Instructors will provide a review of the information found in the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual and the NH Code of Administrative Rules. Hands on activities and class discussions will enhance the understanding and provide a strong foundation to pass the state exam.
Please note that this course does not satisfy the requirements for applicators looking to get certified as Supervisory Registration Certification - General Use status.
Attendance at an initial certification training class is not required for certification at the operational level. However, it does help direct the studying.
**Applicators will test with the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food, Division of Pesticide Control.
This event is being held at the UU Church of Concord, 274 Pleasant St. Concord, NH.
5 Recertification Credits are available for this course.
