10:00 a.m. Food Safety and Produce -Produce encounters many chances to become contaminated making its way from field to market. During this session, we will discuss how to prevent cross contamination and the general overview of food safety, hygiene, proper washing of vegetables, post-harvest handling during storage and transportation and the cleaning of equipment.
