Foraging for Fiddleheads [webinar]
Fiddlehead picking is a springtime tradition in Maine and New Hampshire. In this class we'll cover how to properly identify, sustainably harvest and safely cook our iconic ostrich fern fiddleheads.
Registration is required and a $5 or $10 donation is optional. Register on the event webpage to attend live or receive a link to the recording. This session is the first in a six-part spring webinar series to be offered every other Wednesday through June for Granite State and Pine State gardeners.
Meet Our Presenter
Dave Fuller is an agriculture and non-timber forest products professional with UMaine Extension. His areas of focus include organic production of garlic and onions and foraged crops like wild leeks and ostrich fern fiddleheads.
