Foundations for STEM Docent Volunteers

Thu, 04/01/2021 to Thu, 04/29/2021
3:30pm - 5:30pm

STEM Docents are volunteers with a specialty in STEM education who seek to enhance knowledge and engagement in STEM by New Hampshire youth.

Are you ready to join?

Exploring the natural and designed worlds with a child can be among the most rewarding experiences we can do.  As working adults we have life experiences and careers that put us in a position to help teach and mentor youth in STEM.  But, how does one get started?  The STEM Docent Foundations Workshop is designed to help volunteers build their skill set in creating a positive learning environment that promotes youth’s active engagement in STEM activities.  It teaches some fundamental skills and tricks to help you share your passion for science to youth.

This workshop will occur virtually using Zoom on the following dates:

April 1 (4:00 - 5:00), April 8, 15, 22, 29 (3:30 - 5:30)

This workshop is for STEM Docent volunteers who have completed the STEM Docent application process. Not sure where to start? Contact
