Gearing Up for Grant Writing Online Workshop

Wed, 06/10/2020 to Wed, 06/24/2020
10:00am - 11:30am

Having trouble taking your community project from idea to implementation? Do you find the idea of writing a grant proposal and crafting a project budget overwhelming and confusing? Grants are a vital piece in your community’s funding puzzle…and you can do it. Whether you’ve never written a grant proposal before or are looking for new tips and tricks, this course is designed for community leaders, volunteers, municipal employees and nonprofit workers who are looking to expand funding options for projects that will improve their communities.

The Gearing Up for Grant Writing Course has gone virtual and instead of being offered as day-long training, will take place on Wednesdays, June 10th, 17th, and 24th from 10:00am to 11:30am.

In the course, you will learn:

  • Sources of data for community needs.
  • Where to find grants.
  • Elements of a great grant proposal.
  • Practicing the grant elements.

Pre-registration is required as space is limited.

A fee is charged for this Extension program to cover costs. A limited number of scholarships are available to individuals unable to pay. Please contact Stephen Meno for more information.
