Did you know that 1 in every 3 bites happens because of a pollinator? Join us for a night of fun hands-on learning where we will talk about who pollinators are, their habitat, challenges they face, and products they provide. For the 4-H Honeybee Challenge we will learn about the forage behaviors of honeybees and the challenges that they face finding food sources. Youth will get the chance to build “bee-bots” and simulate foraging for pollen using problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Light refreshment and snacks will be provided.
Open to youth 10 & older.
Register by August 2 through 4HOnline.
