SAFE Safety Awarenes in the Food Environment

Do you prepare or serve food to the public? As food handlers, you  make hundreds of food handling decisions that can potentially affect the health of many people. Explore the alternatives and consequences of various “risky” situations that happen when serving food to the public.

The two-hour program covers time and temperature, personal hygiene and safe food handling techniques.  The workshop will help you understand how poor decisions can affect the safety of the food you serve; what practical steps can reduce risk in food handling situations; how these steps fit your process, from receiving to serving.
