Supervisory Pesticide Applicator Registration Certificate - General Use Training: Microbial (F8)
(Wednesday 09/20/2017 - 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM)

UNH Cooperative Extension will host a series of all-day training workshops in September 2017 for those seeking a supervisory registration certificate - general use from the state’s Division of Pesticide Control. Individuals wishing to obtain this certification need to participate in a series of training classes, pass a written and oral exam, and show proof of insurance.

Training will prepare participants for the state certification exam. Instructors will provide a review of the information found in the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual and NH Code of Administrative Rules during the core classes (you should only attend one of the two core classes; they are both the same). Trainings will be offered for the following categories: turf (G2), ornamental (G1), right-of-way (B), microbial (F8), and forest (C1). The number of recertifcation credits/class will be announced shortly.

New Hampshire requires that anyone applying pesticides commercially must be certified as a commercial pesticide applicator. This certification is required regardless of whether the applicator gets paid for the service or the pesticide is classified as general or restricted use. This includes over-the-counter homeowner-type pesticides.

Cost: $115 per day. For those who need it, there is an additional cost for study materials, which participants are required to purchase and read prior to attending the sessions.

Participants can register by visiting our website (https://extension.unh.edu/Pesticide-Safety-Education-Program/Register-Supervisory-Registration-Certification-General-Use).

Registration will be opened until 8/1/2017.
