Tree Identification

This "all outdoors" course will serve as an introduction to the basics of tree identification. Instructors will cover getting started, using a dichotomous key, tree terminology, and tips and tricks. In addition to learning the identification process, students will see and practice with at least fifteen different tree species in a hands-on setting.

Who should attend?

  - Public Works directors and Road Agents
  - Highway Superintendents
  - Public works road work employees
  - Other Municipal Officials

This workshop is eligible for up to 5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and up to .5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through the University of New Hampshire.
You do not need CEUs for the UNH Roads Scholar Program.
