Safety Awareness in the Food Environment for those who receive food & support through the NH Food Bank
Thursday, 08/03/2017 (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Protect yourself and the people you feed! SAFE reviews safe food handling techniques, reminders of personal hygiene practices, prevention of cross-contamination, safe time & temperature controls, and receiving food donations.  SAFE workshops provide food safety training for new employees and refresher information for more experienced staff. The 2-hour workshop uses practical discussion and hands-on demonstrations to help participants apply safe food handling practices. SAFE participants receive fact sheets and a certificate of attendance will be provided to the NH Food Bank to document training.

This training fulfills the food safety training requirements for the NH Food Bank.

Presented by: Ann Hamilton, Field Specialist and ServSafe(r) Certified Instructor.
