Kids to Kids Blanket Project Workday
9:00am - 1:00pm
- PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN LOCATION -
Due to illness at the Nursing Home, this event will now be held at the Extension Office.
This intergenerational community service project workday provides youth with an opportunity to work side-by-side with Grafton County Nursing Home residents to create no-sew fleece blankets meant to be given to local children experiencing trauma as a comfort package that they can keep.
The Kids to Kids project is a cooperative effort between the Office of the Grafton County Attorney and UNH Cooperative Extension 4-H Youth Development program in Grafton County.
This event is open to youth ages 8 to 18. (Younger youth are welcome with an accompanying adult.) Youth do not need to be a member of an existing 4-H club in order to participate.
Youth participants are encouraged to stay through lunch and spend the time getting to know the residents better. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or 603-787-6944 by noon on February 20.
