This 3-day online short course is open to livestock owners of all skills and experience levels. It is designed to teach participants how to develop simple feed rations to meet the nutritional needs of livestock of all types and life stages, while meeting the production goals of their farm.

Basic Livestock Nutrition,

An overview of ruminant and monogastric digestive systems in livestock, the role of nutrients in supporting animal growth and production

Speaker: Dr. Pete Erickson, Professor/Extension Dairy Specialist

Tues. Feb 9th 6:30-8pm

How to Formulate Livestock Rations,

A lesson on formulating rations using the Pearson square method and an introduction to other tools to develop feed rations.
