Make No-Sew Blankets for “Families in Transition”
The Merrimack County 4-H YLT is hosting a No-Sew Blanket Making Night on January 17th at 6:00pm to benefit “Families in Transition”. All youth 13 & older are invited to attend and help make these blankets. We are asking for donations of fleece for the blankets but will have some on hand as well. Additionally, the YLT is collecting toiletries such as small toothbrushes, travel size shampoos, lotions, conditioners, toothpastes, etc.
Please RSVP by January 15 to Laurie Field at firstname.lastname@example.org so we know who to notify in case of inclement weather.
Sizes for donations:
- For a nice size throw: 1.5 yards of each fleece
- For a twin size throw: 2.5-3 yards of each fleece
