NH 4-H State Activities Day
State Activities Day provides an opportunity for youth and teens to build confidence and communication skills. 4-H'ers begin the process by developing a project in their local Club program. Projects may be entered in their county's 4-H Activities Day, where they are judged through the application of unified criteria based upon presentation type, subject area, and age. Awardees from each county are then eligible to compete at State Activities Day, a similar process at the statewide level. Top finishers at State Activities Day* are invited to represent New Hampshire at the regional Eastern States Exposition ("The Big E"), where their presentation will be seen by countless fairgoers. Participants in these events gain valuable life skills that will provide an advantage on future applications, interviews, and everyday life.
These experiences qualify for the UNH 4-H scholarship program. Click here to see how UNH values 4-H experiences!
