[POSTPONED] Stream Safari Educator Training with STEM Docents 2020

Wed, 05/13/2020 to Wed, 05/20/2020
4:00pm - 7:00pm
UNH Manchester
Room 325
88 Commercial Street
Manchester, NH 03101

Due to the public health concern caused by the COVID-19 virus, UNH administration made the decision to cancel all UNH Cooperative Extension events, programs and noncredit classes through May. The health and safety of our staff and the many members of our New Hampshire communities that participate in our programs is most important. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this uncertain time.

The new date will be posted here as soon as possible and announced in our newsletter (sign up).

Get kids outside and their feet wet in the streams, lakes, and ponds of New Hampshire! Stream Safari is an engaging, out-of-doors, active curriculum that centers around getting youth thinking about waterways, how we interact with them, and why they are important. It covers topics like watersheds, water cycles, adaptations, and species interactions and is designed for youth in grades 3 - 8. Training in Stream Safari is available to all adults through the STEM Docent program.  (Application needed for all new STEM Docent volunteers).

Dates: May 13 & 20 (4:00 - 7:00) and May 16 (9:00 - 12:30)

No cost to STEM Docent or 4H volunteers (contact megan.glenn@unh.edu)
