[POSTPONED] - Youth Mental Health First Aid Training - April 2020
Due to the public health concern caused by the COVID-19 virus, UNH administration made the decision to cancel all events, campus programs, noncredit classes, and community programs through May 4th (and in some cases, where venue locations are temporarily unavailable, beyond that date). The health and safety of our staff and the many members of our NH communities that participate in our programs is most important.
Currently, we intend to conduct programs after May 4, however UNH may decide to extend the cancellation period. We ask that you register for this program now, with the understanding that you will receive a refund if it is canceled.
A young person you know could be experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis. YOU can help them. Take the course, save a life, strengthen your community. Participants will receive 8 hours of professional development time with certificates available.
Sponsored by: the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention with funds raised through NH Out of the Darkness Community Walks; NITT (Now is the Time) Project AWARE, an initiative of the Office of Student Wellness at the NH Department of Education; and UNH Cooperative Extension.
