Pruning Ornamental Trees and Shrubs [online]
In the fourth and final interactive pruning session, UNH Extension field specialist Emma Erler will share proven tips and solutions for pruning your ornamental trees and shrubs, and answer your questions.
The beginning of March marks the start of pruning season for New Hampshire gardeners and home orchardists. This time of year is also when UNH Extension typically offers in-person pruning demonstrations around the state. This year and last year, we have been unable to do so, but this year we are offering virtual opportunities to engage with our specialists, ask questions, and learn proven tips and solutions for pruning the trees and shrubs in your garden and landscape.
These sessions will be hosted on Facebook Live through the Ask UNH Extension Facebook page, and will also be streamed on this event page. Questions will be accepted ahead of time, or live during the event. Questions will be answered live, and those not answered live will be answered afterwards. Recordings of these sessions will be available afterwards. There is no charge to attend.
