[RESCHEDULED] - 4-H Garden Party
Due to the public health concern caused by the COVID-19 virus, UNH administration made the declaration to cancel all UNH Cooperative Extension events, programs, and noncredit classes through April 5. The health and safety of our staff and the many members of our New Hampshire communities that participate in our programs is most important. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this uncertain time.
The Grafton County 4-H Garden Party was originally scheduled for April 4, but has been rescheduled for April 11.
About the Event
The 4-H Garden Party is the kick-off to the summer Garden Program, and is a drop-by event from 9am to noon. (Youth do not need to be 4-H members to participate.)
The event includes learning stations set-up around the conference room. Youth circle around the room learning about various gardening topics, and can stay as short or as long a time as they wish. This year’s stations include: Pickle Challenge, DIY Sprouting Pencils, Potato Mice Fun, Plant Hacks, Recycled Paper Seed Balls, Taste Testing Vegetables, and Garden Seed Pick-up.
The Garden Party will be the drop-off point for all donations for the Grafton County 4-H Food & Essentials Collection Project. This enhanced Food Drive will provide much-needed supplies to a local food shelf in our area.
