Rockingham County 4-H COVID Year-In-Review Reflection Sessions
Covid is not behind us, yet. There will still be Covid program restrictions in the coming months. These restrictions are likely to loosen up as the infection rate drops. Eventually, in the not-too-distant future, 4-H in Rockingham County will be able to operate as it once did before Covid. I am looking forward to safer, easier, in-person times.
Club Leaders, Volunteer Leaders, 4-H staff, and I tried a bunch of different strategies to get programs into your homes and in front of your kids. We mailed programs home, tried out social media, organized Zoom courses, virtual clubs, held events in-person with Covid guidelines in place, and much more. Hopefully, you tried out some of these programs.
I am inviting you to come to any of the Zoom sessions below and share the good, the bad, and the ugly – and most importantly, what we should keep offering, and how to improve on some of the programs your family enjoyed. I have five meeting times sprinkled over two days. If you are a volunteer, a parent, and especially if you are a youth, I hope you can find a time to come to one of the sessions and share your perspective and help plot an amazing trajectory for the 2021-2022 4-H year. Let’s make it the best year ever!
