Seaperch Educators Workshop
Interested in bringing the SeaPerch ROV program to your classroom?
Attend the Seacoast SeaPerch Teacher Workshop, and learn how to build, and then test an underwater ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle). This summer at UNH, Seacoast SeaPerch will offer a one day training program open to educators, 4-H leaders, afterschool providers, community partners or others interested in coaching a SeaPerch club or team.
The training includes:
- Building a SeaPerch – educators work in teams of two to build a SeaPerch from a kit. Information on ordering kits or parts to help you build Seaperches with your group will be shared with participants.
- Organizing a SeaPerch Club/Team – we will get you started in forming a SeaPerch club or team, including covering startup costs, school teams and 4-H clubs, safety, finding local sponsors, general resources and competition details.
Lunch will be provided.
