Understanding equine behavior is the key to safe handling skills that prevent injury to horse and rider alike. Tuesday, August 3: The Horse in History

An overview of the horse’s role in human history, highlighting interesting facts and ways in which the horse’s historic roles influenced history and can still be seen today – if you know where to look! Presented by Sarah Rigg, Director of the UNH Equine Program.

Tuesday, August 10: Successful and Safe Showing: Planning for Success, Staying Safe, and Getting Noticed for the Right Reasons!

Sarah Rigg, Director of the UNH Equine Program, USEF Technical Delegate, and coach of the 2009 National Champion IDA Team will discuss how to make a plan for show season success, including goal setting, planning your season, planning for show day, staying safe in the warm-up, and getting noticed!
