This hike will be led by Karlee O'Keefe, Rockingham County 4-H Wildside Intern! Here's a little bit about Karlee:
"Hello! My name is Karlee O'Keefe. I am an Environmental Science Sustainability and Conservation major at UNH, and I am graduating this semester. My love for the environment came from living in Washington State in the Cascades, while also having the chance to go to the Peruvian Amazon in high school, and half a semester abroad in New Zealand. The coolest thing I have done so far within my major was go to New Zealand and do field work in the ocean with fish older and almost bigger than me. Most of my family is from Buffalo, New York so I am a proud Buffalo Bills fan and New York Yankees fan to help break some ice with all you Boston fans! Lastly some of my favorite hobbies include snowboarding, hiking, camping, and playing video games. I can't wait to get to know everyone and share some snazzy facts while providing a smile at the end of the day!"
For those from Austin17House who are interested: 4-H meeting guidelines during Covid require facemasks masks to be worn outside in groups of no more than 25 people staying socially distant.
