Woodlot Walk at Maynard Forest

Join forester Charlie Koch, county forester Steve Roberge and land manager Rick Brackett for a tour through a long-term forestry study including American chestnut reintroduction, deer exclosures, and American beech control at the Maynard Forest.  Learn about the benefits of healthy chestnuts as well as the issues surrounding beech bark disease and deer browse.

Look for the “Monadnock Conservancy” signs.
