Vermont is known throughout the world as a leader in the specialty food industry. Recognizing the enormous contribution the specialty food industry makes to the state's economy, government agencies, non profits and private industry have made it a priority to provide support for Vermonters who are looking to start a new specialty food business, or expand an existing food business.

Vermont Food Venture Center
The Vermont Food Venture Center is a shared-use kitchen incubator for value-added and specialty food producers who can rent the kitchen on an hourly basis or arrange for co-packing at the facility. Their staff provides a wide array of food and agricultural business consulting services to aspiring entrepreneurs, existing food businesses and organizations looking to promote food businesses as an economic development tool.
