Helping Kids Manage Emotions and Demonstrate Empathy

Social, Emotional and Mindful Learning (SEML) helps children and youth understand and manage emotions, establish positive relationships and demonstrate empathy for others. SEML fosters positive youth development through integrating both social-emotional learning and mindfulness education. This includes both increased awareness and skill development that can greatly assist young people in responding to stress and trauma, developing resiliency and finding success in personal and social actions.
