Research Report: Summer squash variety trial, 2010-2011

In 2010 and 2011, we evaluated ten yellow summer squash cultivars (eight in each year; six in both years) in replicated field trials at the NH Agricultural Experiment Station in Durham, NH.

Within each year, varieties did not show significant differences in yields. There were differences, however, primarily in fruit size/shape and presence of the ‘B’ gene for precocious yellowing. Access the full report for more details.
