Alyssa Lemmermann teaches income-eligible families, seniors, and youth how to make lifestyle changes for better health. Alyssa received a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam and over the years has worked extensively with community programming focused around local foods and food insecurity. Alyssa has worked with Nutrition Connections since 2017, bringing nutrition education programs to schools, food pantries, homeless shelters, senior centers and various other community organizations. These programs promote healthy lifestyle choices for all ages, while helping families to save money. Alyssa continues to foster relationships with local farmers' markets and gleaning efforts, while also staying involved with other community ventures including public health initiatives, wellness committees, and school gardens.
