Dots main focus in the Merrimack County Cooperative Extension office is to increase agricultural awareness through education. She has extensive practical experience raising livestock. She holds a BA in plant biology with a focus on weed identification and plant disease diagnosis. She also holds a MS in animal sciences which focused on animal health, nutrition, and parasite control. She routinely works with clients on pasture reclamation, whole farm planning, poisonous plant identification in pastures, forage crop establishment and improvement, animal husbandry, health, and nutrition and small ruminant parasite control. She is currently classified as a Field Specialist on the Dairy, Forages and Livestock Team. Dot is also on the FSMA team.
