Ethan joined UNH Cooperative Extension in 2017 as the Hillsboro County Forester. His background in land management and forest research includes experience with northeastern silviculture, forest mapping and measurements, GIS/remote sensing, and invasive species management. He holds degrees in forestry from UNH and Purdue University, and is a NH licensed forester.
Ethan is available to work with individual, community, and non-profit landowners throughout Hillsboro County. He can help landowners manage their forests, combat invasive species, create wildlife habitat, understand forestry laws and taxation, and generally work towards any goals they have for their forestland. Ethan can work with partnering organizations to deliver workshops, field days and forums to the public about the forest resources within Hillsboro County. He is also excited to work with those foresters, loggers, mill owners and other professionals who serve Hillsboro County.
If you live in Hillsborough County and have a question about your forested land, give Ethan a call.
