Lisa Ford

Nutrition Connections Teacher

Teaching youth, adults, and seniors how to make lifestyle changes for better health, Lisa Ford has worked with Nutrition Connections since August 2010.  Her work includes nutrition education programs in schools and with community organizations, providing healthy living programs for youth, adults, and families throughout the county.  Her dynamic teaching style engages participants to expand their knowledge and behaviors, to increase dietary and food security practices, and helps participants achieve healthier lifestyles and wellbeing.

Lisa has graduated from Plymouth State University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Health Education.  She is a trained facilitator in Walk with Ease, a program of the Arthritis Foundation, which provides a base for individuals looking to increase physical activity and helps seasoned walkers to gain skills to improve health and nutrition.

Lisa's office is located in Plymouth at Whole Village Family Resource Center in Plymouth.
