Stephen Meno is the Community and Economic Development Field Specialist in Hillsborough County. His work is focused on building the capacity of local and regional leaders to implement effective strategies to grow and sustain the regional economy and strengthen communities, including stakeholder engagement, downtown revitalization, workforce education and development, and growing the nature economy.
Prior to joining UNH Extension, Stephen worked as a Regional Planner for the Nashua Regional Planning Commission, where he worked on a variety of land use, environmental, and economic development programs including serving as the Circuit Rider for the Town of Wilton. He received a Master of Regional Planning degree with a focus on economic development from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a B.A. in Archaeology and English from Tufts University.
