The New Hampshire 4-H Beef Project is an exciting project that focuses on two types of projects: raising steer (castrated male cattle) for meat consumption, and raising heifers (female cattle) for breeding quality beef animals. You may choose to show your animal and/or sell your animal at a 4-H sale. These are long-term and dedicated projects. You don’t have to have your own beef animal to participate in the New Hampshire 4-H Beef Project. You can lease an animal and/or participate in a variety of the activities and events that the New Hampshire 4-H Beef Project has to offer. Check out the links below for more information.
