Cold climates present a special challenge for stormwater management. These challenges are being addressed by the newly formed Cold Climate Stormwater Center of Excellence (CCSCoE) at the University of New Hampshire and University of Minnesota.
The CCSCoE program houses 2 research projects, 8 technical assistance activities and 5 collaboration activities. The outputs of CCSCoE include an increased workforce development related to implementation of new and existing stormwater infrastructure technologies and sustainable funding mechanisms for a new, resilient and more effective stormwater future.
