There has been much success over the past two years with the NH Community Planning Grant Program in NH. The CPG Program provided competitive matching grants for New Hampshire communities to conduct work on local regulations that will promote economic development, affordable housing, and resiliency in the face of changing conditions. The CPG Program is administered by New Hampshire Housing under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). While the grants are no longer available, a number of resources remain available to NH communities as they plan for change. You can learn from other communities by reading the case studies including a workforce housing ordinance in the Town of Alton; The Marlboro Street Re-Zoning in Keene and Form Based Code in Lancaster.
