Use your creativity and love of food to plan and prepare food dishes and cook up something delicious in the fun of friendly competition!
All levels of cooking, baking, and creating are encouraged to participate in this annual Healthy Living event. Festival participants will demonstrate the ability to prepare food, share their knowledge of basic nutrition, and display food items attractively. All are welcome to attend this fun family event. The theme of the 2024’s FFF is “Superbowl Smorgasbord.”
Other Activities include a DIY Pizza Dough workshop, Onion Slayer chopping contest and a Table Setting Race. Registration requested to provide enough materials.
What you can enter this year:
Create your favorite food and then those attending the event will sample each dish and vote for a People’s Choice Award!
Swap out or add an ingredient for a nutritious choice. Examples: Mix in a vegetable, swap Greek yogurt for sour cream, etc.
Get creative and compose an outstanding place setting.
Create your favorite food and then share with us how you created your delicious dish.
Onion Slayer - contestants will compete to see who can cut up onions without crying. Contestants will be eliminated when their tears begin. The last one not crying will win and be crowned the Onion Master!
Pizza Table Setting Race - the contestant who accurately sets the table in the fastest time will be crowned the Table Setting Champion. Examples of table settings can be found in the registration packet.
DIY Pizza Dough - Take a breather from all the commotion in a quiet setting off to the side. Follow simple instructions and make your own pizza dough from scratch. Video instructions will play on a loop. We will be using King Arthur Flour ingredients. We will unveil the King Arthur Baking Competition dish and recipe for Stratham Summer Fest and Deerfield Fair at this event.
Coloring pages, Brain Teasers, and Craft - more quiet time activities that are related to the Favorite Foods event. Available all day

Registration is required! If you are participating in one of the challenges, please register for this event via 4-H Online by Friday, January 26, 2024. Friends and family are welcome to attend with registered participants, no registration required.
