Maybe the 4-H STEM CoLAB is for you.
The 4-H STEM CoLAB is a community of like-minded volunteers who gather and learn together about what makes kids tick and how best to engage them in science learning. Our goal is to develop and sustain a thriving community of volunteers who are confident mentors and teachers of STEM programs for 4-H youth.

Expectations
We ask CoLAB members to use their new training and community support to offer 4-H STEM programs to youth in their community. Expectations of CoLAB members include:
- Set personal teaching goals that combine personal aspirations and support local youth 4-H programming.
- Developing and leading 4-H STEM youth programs
- Assisting and supporting other 4-H events and programs.
- Mentoring one or more youth in STEM specific topics like robotic, aviation, astronomy, electronics, or whatever.
- Set personal development goals
- Attending the CoLAB Immersive Retreat
- Professional development – how can you improve as a volunteer?
- Social and Community Development, CoLAB gatherings and field trips
- Provide brief program outcome reports
