Join Us For a Family-Friendly Community Event to Support End 68 Hours of Hunger
This family-friendly event will take place at two hubs, Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford NH and UNH Outdoor Track in Durham NH.
Family, friends, or clubs will participate in a relay-style walk or trek totaling 6.8 miles: one mile for each hour of the End 68 Hours of Hunger initiative. Along the way, there will be fun activities, interactive learning stations, and opportunities to raise awareness and support this important cause.
This kickoff is just the start! Throughout the coming year, youth will have the opportunity to plan and implement local projects addressing food insecurity, discover ways to help neighbors, and take on leadership roles in their communities. Every step, idea, and effort helps build a stronger, healthier, and more connected local community: your participation truly matters!
Held rain or shine! Registration closes May 22.

- Help us in raising funds for End 68 Hours of Hunger as well as reducing the stigma of food insecurity.
- Youth and adults will form teams (clubs, families, friends) and work together before the event to raise funds for End 68 Hours of Hunger.
- On the day of teams will bring the money they have raised and take part in a community day with our big relay walk/trek and celebrate our community with games, activities and a community meal.
*End 68 Hours of Hunger is a public non-profit effort to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive in school Friday and the free breakfast they receive in school Monday.
