ABOUT THE EVENT:

Ever wonder what the researchers and scientists are up to at the UNH Agricultural Experimental Farms?  What to see where world famous research has taken place with regard to lilac breeding and squash and pumpkin breeding?  What to talk to the researchers on the work they are doing currently?  Join us with a visit to COLSA (College of Life Science and Agriculture) at their research facilities to talk shop and learn about their cutting edge research in dairy and plant breeding.  See the most recent work in agroforestry as UNH once again is regional leader in agricultural principles within forestry while building in climate resiliency.

WHO IS THIS EVENT INTENDED FOR?

This field experience is designed with science teachers in mind, however it is open to any adult (or young adult) with an interest in science or agriculture.  We will be talking with researchers about their work and anticipate they will talk in their lingo, elevating the conversation around their work.
