ABOUT:
The Digging Deeper workshop series is designed to dig a little deeper into three Agroforestry products that are also part of the Harvest of the Month calendar. These workshops will highlight the Harvest of the Month lessons on three food items; apples, maple and mushrooms, while digging deeper on each to expand on each of the lessons, bringing hands-on, minds-on activities that engage student learning. In addition to the tasting and the HOM lessons, participants will learn a little about the science, how the food is used, other lessons and extensions that can be used, do an activity around the item, and finish off preparing a tasty treat in the food lab where the workshop will be held. So bring your curiosity and you appetite to this inside look at Agroforestry and Harvest of the Month.
