Let's Get Crafty

 “Let’s Get Crafty”

 The idea behind it is to:

1. Encourage new families to take part in an activity and meet 4-H members, leaders and families

2. Provide the opportunity for 4-H members to practice presenting in front of others and to share a craft like project with others in preparation for 4-H Presents Demo Day or other presentation-like events throughout the 4-H year.

3. Provide the opportunity for adult volunteers to share their knowledge and talents and to interact with youth from Coös County.

4. To give youth ideas for projects, make projects to give as gifts during the holidays and/or begin projects to exhibit at other events or fair.

At Let’s Get Crafty, youth will have the opportunity to participate in craft station sessions of their choice. Participants can visit the station, make the craft and move on to the next station. Depending on the stations chosen some may only be able to visit 1-2 stations (because of complexity or time needed) others may visit most of the stations. For each craft station, there will be instruction, guidance, and a craft you can take home. 

There is no fee for this event, however donations would be greatly appreciated!
