Professional Development Opportunity for Educators
Deepen your understanding of maple sugaring in NH
NH 4-H Educator AGsploration is a professional development experience for elementary teachers (3rd-5th grade) who are interested in incorporating a year-long maple curriculum into their classroom. The PD experience includes in-person workshops, field trips to local sugar shacks, face time with industry professionals and researchers, and a community of learners excited to learn and grow together. If you already tap trees with students, this program can help expand a seasonal activity into a year-long exploration. If you have no experience tapping trees but are interested in learning and exploring sugaring with your students, this program will give you the basics!
