Join the 4-H Community Ambassadors for a day of Igniting A Kindness Chain Reaction. Teens will work in small groups to design a Rube Goldberg machine, a reaction machine designed to perform a simple task in an intentionally impractical and complicated way. Creating the machine will be the tool to practice teamwork, collaboration, communication, and kindness. At the end of the retreat, our 4-Hers will set off a GIANT chain reaction. In workshops led by our 4-H Community Ambassadors, teens will be set up to take on all different kinds of kindness challenges like painting kindness rocks, writing cards, and engaging in a perspective-taking exercise that will open their eyes and hearts. All teens ages 12-18 are welcome!
All lunch, snacks, and materials are provided. Please bring a refillable water bottle!
